IPI Fire Protection specializes in the design, fabrication, and installation of interior and exterior automatic fire sprinkler systems. Our fire protection services also include repair, inspection, system modification and testing of all varieties of existing sprinkler systems as well as new construction. While IPI Fire Protection provides systems that are economical and efficient, our design and installation activities are conducted in compliance with fire codes and underwriter standards. Through the years, IPI Fire Protection has installed systems in thousands of industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities all over the Southeastern US.

Design and EngineeringEstimating. Aided by preliminary computer design, firm cost estimates for the customer can be developed accurately by IPI's sales engineers directly from jobsite surveys and building data. IPI routinely prepares turnkey proposals for complete automatic sprinkler systems utilizing minimal information -- estimates are free of charge.Design/Engineering. Optimum system layout and design is achieved utilizing the most up-to-date engineering software available (HASS, Hydratec, AutoCAD Mechanical and SprinkCAD). Hydraulic calculations performed verify system viability based upon established water supplies. IPI Fire Protection routinely prepares complete working shop drawings of fire protection systems for approval by Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) and for prefabrication detail. |

Fabrication and ConstructionFabrication. All systems are prefabricated at IPI's fabrication facilities prior to shipment to jobsites. Piping in stock is pulled and prepared according to specification: welded, cut-grooved, roll-grooved, mechanical or threaded systems in standard or thin wall schedules as required using. If required, prefabricated systems are sandblasted and painted in our finishing facility.Construction. Safety is our number one priority. Constant attention to sound safety practices has resulted in years of superior safety records. Field work is conducted using the most efficient labor saving techniques and construction equipment for rapid, trouble-free installations. Construction capabilities cover underground, fire pumps, tanks and inside systems complete with testing and approval. Schedules are arranged to meet construction deadlines with capabilities to do shutdowns, tie-ins and emergency work to meet customer requirements. Field crews are available throughout the Southeastern U.S. making IPI local to most areas. |

Inspections, Modifications and UpfitsInspections. IPI Fire Protection performs inspection services for all types of fire protection systems. Inspections are conducted in accordance with NFPA 25 standards including full testing of systems and devices to ensure that all components are in prime working condition. IPI offers inspection programs geared to provide automatic periodic inspections required by all authorities having jurisdiction.Modifications/Upfits. In many cases existing sprinkler systems must be altered to meet new occupancies, storage changes, or differing building uses. IPI specializes in making system modifications and upfits necessary to adapt existing systems to new system demands. No job is too small -- whether for industrial, retail or other commercial applications. |
